Product Code V18040306. We present a fabric that creates surprise through subtraction — the Dissolvable Yarn Smile Jacquard Interlock.
Its secret lies within the dissolvable yarn. During knitting, 12% dissolvable yarn interweaves with polyester and spandex to form complete jacquard patterns. When the fabric meets hot water, the dissolvable yarn quietly vanishes, and the once-filled patterns suddenly “open” into smiling openwork textures. This is not destruction, but a second growth of design — with hot water as the brush and dissolution as the paint.
We build the framework with 80% polyester and infuse elasticity with 8% spandex, achieving a substantial 250 GSM across 170cm width. After dissolution, the openwork edges remain smooth and refined, like meticulously cut lace, yet richer in texture and structure than lace itself.
